About the Omani Examination for Nursing Diploma (OEN-Diploma)
The Omani Examination for Nursing Diploma (OEN-Diploma) is proposed for all nursing candidates who holds a diploma in nursing science. This examination will ensure safe practice level, thus promoting the quality of nursing care. Additionally, the OEN-Diploma will promote the use of critical thinking skills to make accurate nursing judgment in clinical practice.

Purpose of the OEN-Diploma
- To ensure that newly graduated nursing diploma candidates have the competencies to practice as safe practitioners
- To be used as eligibility criteria for employment in Oman for nurses who holds a diploma in nursing science.
Eligibility
- Diploma in Nursing Science from recognized local or international colleges
- Completion of registration
How to register for the OEN-Diploma
- Go to OMSB website: www.omsb.gov.om
- Click on "Professional Competence Affairs"
- Select Occupational Classification Testing Section
- Click on "Online Services"
- Visit Pearson VUE website to schedule, reschedule, or cancel your exam (https://home.pearsonvue.com/omsb)
- Payment of examination fee: 200 USD

Venue of examination
For those residing in Oman, the venue will be at Oman Medical Specialty Board. For those residing outside Oman, the examination will be conducted in Pearson VUE centers worldwide.
Release of results
The results of the examination will be emailed to the candidates via their registered email within 24 hours after completion of the examination.
